Undertaking a new construction project involves going through the following process:
First, it’s essential to become acquainted with the location by visiting the plot and establishing initial contact with my clients. During this stage, the first design ideas are influenced by geographical conditions, sun exposure, prevailing winds, views, vegetation, and so on. Essentially, we aim to find the right location and form for the building on the plot.
Subsequently, the design proposal phase begins, leading to the development of a satisfactory solution. I involve my clients in the creative process, working as a team. This entails listening to their ideas, offering alternative solutions, and engaging in dialogues to understand their needs and goals until we achieve the best solution.
Finally, the construction phase, where the ideas take shape, and we must establish a smooth and mutually beneficial relationship with the construction company responsible for the project.
REHABILITATION AND INTERIOR DESIGN
Engaging in an existing building for its rehabilitation or renovation shares similarities with constructing a new building but also presents certain differences. Additionally, it offers the added value of preserving our built heritage.
In an intervention involving an existing building, whether for rehabilitation or interior renovation, it’s essential to start by thoroughly understanding the structure. An initial study is conducted to assess its condition and characteristics, from which a strategy for intervention is developed.
Subsequently, the process is similar to that of new construction, both in the design phase and in the construction phase.
CONSULTING AND URBAN PLANNING
Sound guidance rooted in extensive experience, provided to both businesses and individuals, on matters related to architecture, construction, legality, and regulations is crucial for making informed decisions in the future.
